Charlotte Jacobs
Editor and Writing Coach
Loves:
Mocha, long dog walks, pretty special editions, the smell of vanilla and seaspray, and pretending to be a mermaid (scuba diving).
Things that will make you love me or hate me:
-
I have a TBR list that's longer than the number of days in a year, and I still buy more books. Weekly.
-
I'm a mum and dog-lover (probably the main reason for the long TBR).
-
I think anyone who takes the time to pour words onto a page is a writer. You don't have to be published to earn the 'Author' badge. If you write, you're a writer.
-
I believe everyone has a story in them, but only a few are brave enough to try and tell it.
A Bit About Me
With a Masters in Creative Writing, I specialise in editing romance and fantasy fiction. I excel in world building, character development, and crafting compelling narratives that captivate readers.

I believe in gentle but honest feedback that encourages you to be the best writer you can and to create the best manuscript possible. For me, this is best achieved through collaboration, guidance, and being your biggest cheerleader in getting your work out there for your readers to fall in love with.

So, if you want an editor who understands what it's like to be a writer, who adapts feedback to suit you and your needs, and will cheer you on every step of the way, while also ensuring you put your best work out there, then I'd love to hear from you!
