This edit provides a detailed 10-20 page editorial report as well as in-manuscript comments and suggestions. Thus in-depth analysis will clearly explain what's working and what needs strengthening, and offer practical advice and ideas for revision. I also include a 30-minute follow-up video call to address any queries and provide additional pointers or advice you need following the feedback.
A manuscript evaluation is a light touch version of developmental editing, which highlights what's working well and what needs strengthening. This service provides a 5-10 page report that looks at the big picture of your story.
This can be a useful alternative to a full developmental edit if you need an expert eye on your work but you're confident in solving any issues raised without guidance or in-text commentary. The analysis can also focus on key areas of concern or remain all-encompassing, depending on requirements.
The consultancy service provides one-on-one support to authors who need more assistance than the typical editing stages.
